So I went to Autozone today...

...because I needed some wiper blades for the truck. I was looking around while I was in there and saw their gauges. I said "wow" 35 bucks for a boost gauge, I might as well get one. Then I noticed it only went to 20... I walked over and asked the guy that works there if they have any boost gauges that go to at least 40 and he just looked at me and said what would you need that much on a boost gauge for? I just said well I make about 30-35 stock so.... He just gave me this dumbfound look as I turned and walked off.....

Some young airmen where I work are into the NOPI scene.
They were talking about their Fast & Furious wannabe "ricers" and mentioned their "Huge" (8 - 10 psi) boost readings.....
I mentioned I was launching @ 15 and hitting 35 psi at WOT.........and I'm one of the "Little" guys.
They looked at me like "Suuuuure, whatever"
Then I gave a couple of them a ride...........

Ain't it neat that a 7300# truck can stomp a 2500# car?

They never ever see it coming.

On the same kind of note I love when people tell my buddy who has an '01 24v that "all you have to do is turn the pump up, *makes twisting motion with his hands* it's really easy too!". Lol I told a guy I used to work with that when I add a bigger turbo I will wastegate it to around 50 PSI, he went on about how bad it will hurt the bottem-end of the motor etc, when I told him the stock rods are supposed to be good for 80 PSI his jaw dropped
