Hooray for setting off car alarms!

My favorite long-term parking lot for that is right under the runway approach for Ontario International Airport. Whenever a big plane comes down for a landing the whole parking lot sounds off. And usually two or three planes come down just in the time you're waiting for the shuttle...

Awww....that's nothing; I used to do that, revving my pinto high into 1st gear going around the parking lot in college! Well, of course, the motor was FAR from stock; hi flow head, big valves, barely streetable cam, and other go fast goodies!

Just in case ya'll didn't know, you can get ticketed for that. And it's expensive. Fun, but expensive. One more peice and I'll be strait piped and just might try a few of my own.

Yeah, you can also get sued for having you're stupid car alarm go off without anybody actually trying to damage you're car.

Is you're car damaged, or was it ever threatened of being damaged?
No.
Does it go off every day in my client's immediate vicinity, and continue to go off for five minutes after my client leaves, thereby disrupting the peace for 500 times longer and to 5 times the degree as my clients truck did?
Yessir, I'd reckon, but I'm a prissy princess who thinks that my finicky car-alarm is going to keep my car from being stolen, and I don't care if it wakes up all my neighors every morning when I hit the wrong button and forget it's on.
You, owner of the Pontiac Fiero with the overly-sensitive car alarm, are sentenced to having you're wreck smacked with a dead racoon until you're battery dies!
Oh man...

I would hate car alarms if it wasn't so much fun setting them off.

Haha beagle is always a good laugh. Theyre getting way too sensitive, I was leaving a parking space in my bronco which has a 2 inch glasspack, a cat and a resonator, its not even that loud and as I let the clutch out I gave ite a bit of gas and the freakin thing beeped at me. Car alarms do not help in the deturance of theft, because when someone hears one they dont give a crap!

the only car alarm i ever liked was in my friends 88 celebrity... he found an oldd air-raid siren . hooked it upto just the doors so it would not just go off for no reason.. worked great too. he lost his keys in the sand while hunting grunion at the beach. we woke up half the neighborhood when the poor unsuspection AAA guy unlock the door then opened it!

that was fallowed by the rush for blankets and towells to muffle the sound while we disabled the alarm . man the look on the towtruck drivers face when the horn honked twice fallowed by his flashback of wwII
