I'm just happy that they are offering it in a version that isn't a short bed 4 door. A 2 door 2wd long bed is what I drive now, and a 4wd with that 8 speed auto sounds mighty tempting. Now if there was an SRT-D model . . .

If you get on the F-150 Ecoboost forum,you'll decline to buy one. We'll see how things go with the Ecodiesel. Way too much money for everything regardless.

This is about choice.
The gas versus diesel debate is tiresome.

If you want a half-ton truck with a diesel, you now have an option.
