03 duramax brakes
03 duramax brakes
Someone on here told me to pull the relay for the ABS to check the module under the driver's seat on the frame. I did it today because I was tired of a loose wire somewhere setting the ABS light (and door dinger) off every other time I hit a bump. The brake light comes on and it dings for about 20-30 seconds after the first time hitting the brakes, but WOW!!!!!!! No spongy pedal, no wondering if you are going to stop or not, the pedal is rock-solid and you can feel the truck nose down a bit, and not even push that much.
I had to pull the fuse (couldn't find a relay), but put it back once I unhooked the trailer. The constant dinging was annoying moving around the yard and such. It WILL be getting unplugged next time I hook up to a trailer.
New question- is there anything that can be done about the door dinger with the fuse pulled, outside an aftermarket stereo?
