RAM 6500 in Mexico

I was in Ojinaga, Mexico (across from Pesidio, Texas)a week ago, filling up with their wonderful $1.90/gal Pemex diesel. Behind me, waitning to fill, was a Dodge 6500 diesel(made in Mexico?), on a 2 ton chassis with huge fuel tanks and a trailer almost semi size.
Anybody know much about these trucks? It has the same body as a mine, the Gen 2, but looked much, much, diffrrent otherwise .
I guess for marketing or regulations, they do not sell it here.

Ive seen pictures before and they arent some new thing and have been around at least 3 or 4 years. Yes they have a second gen front grill that looks like its been stretched. They have the regular sized headlights though like our trucks have and they look quite odd. They are branded as Dodge. What are these mysterious vehicles we know very little about! Why hasnt Dodge sold them in the US?

THAT is a monster!

If they would have offered that here, they would have sold every one they built...

I got a feeling that truck isn't as new as we think......looking at the cab, it has 2nd generation written all over it, the headlights are another thing to look at as well.

Heres a link for the dodge 4000 on a mexican site. Check out the H100 on the same page. Odd looking truck for a Dodge.

Ahhhhhhhhhhh the H100 is a Hyundai supposedly made by Dodge. Interesting.
More likely that it is made by Hyundai and imported by Dodge like they used to do with the Mitsubishi's.

D/C probably doesn't market it here because Dodge dealers aren't equipped to service it and they already have that market covered with Sterlings and Freightliner FL 70's and MB's

I wonder what other antiquated junk is on it beside those Dayton wheels! They even look like splitrims!

i dont buy the emissions thing .. what would the difference be? the 5.9s in those bigger trucks in mexico are the same as ours, ill chalk it up to service problems and/or not enough demand in the us ... we're seeing the 4 and 5 series now so maybe in the future the 6 and 7 series will be introduced.
