I experienced a KDP firsthand, on a company truck. Posting on "Help" greatly helped me explain to the boss what happened.

I'm getting mine done........ last week i was at the gas station and a guy who had a similar truck walked over and started ragging on me to get my KDP done ASAP...... he then explained how someone warned him about it and TWO hours later his pin fell out! He happened to have his timing cover in the cab of his truck and he showed it to me...... big crack down the front of it, it cost him $3000.00 in repairs....he is now on a mission to tell everyone about the KDP.... The years affected are 94 to 99 i believe.
Check out this link, it explains everything about the "killer dowel pin"
