PSD with ALOT of miles
A guy pulled into where i pick up my loads today with a early 99' 2-wheel drive Powerstroke {manual tranny} that had 630,000 miles on it, i was so amazed i had to click a pic of it..when i get the film developed in a couple weeks, i'll try to post it...only one bad injector and some minor stuff, new tranny within a month as well..way cool !
Great for him!
I am looking forward to seeing that kind of life with my Cummins! I have been told that I should easily see it with my engine, but the rest of the truck will be exhausted!
Seriously, there isn't any reason a well maintained and properly assembled vehicle couldn't go so well.

My dad has a '90 with the Cummins and the body is still in great shape. He only has about 290,000 miles on it as he is retired and on limited income. He has had to rebuild the 5 speed tranny about 3 times and this past January he had to replace the injector pump. Still other than air conditioning compressor and a couple of leaks around the injector pump he has had very few problems.
