Owner probably wants 15-16. Dealer would want 17-18. I would say it could be worth 15 if it is in excellent condition (no rust, dents, cracked dash, worn driver's seat, needed repairs, etc). NADA or KBB can only say so much. Market really dictates what a truck is worth. If you can go across the street and buy a truck for 5k under NADA value, then it's not worth NADA value. If you can't find a truck for sale for NADA or less, then it's worth more in that area. Sometimes it's cheaper to buy a plane ticket in conjunction with a vehicle so you can fly there and drive it home.

I agree on this one it seems like trucks are cheaper down in Texas and southern states, I bought mine in mississippi for cheaper than I could have around my area and it was a southern truck so no rust.

For that truck....I would say anything between $16,000 and $20,000....low side being a good find...high side being major dealer mark up. You can find them with less of a price tag.....but if it seems to be taken care of go for it. There is a few on autotrader right now....with close to the same miles for that price range. redwake
