I was gonna post over there but figured it would be a PITA to sign up, log in, check email for password....etc just to talk to a wall. It's like talking to your wife.....at times it's just better to agree and say, "yeah sure, you furd guys are always right". To hard headed to show logic with them. Oh yeah, it was a 7.3, yeah hands down a better engine than the turd in the furd now.

Only ford would get excited about one truck hitting 600K. They need the publicity to offset the 6.0 embassment. If dodge put out a call for high mileage trucks the phone would ring off the hook. Dodge doesn't do it because they have nothing to prove. Anybody who can simply look at facts and history knows which diesel is best.

I went over that ford forum. I can't believe how those guys talk to one another. It really makes me appreciate what comradery we enjoy here. Nobody here talks nasty and is always respectful. This forum is certainly something to be proud of.

I also couldn't believe how many posts are about trucks just up and dying. I wanted to post so bad but I decided not to be a troll. I don't like when those guys start stuff here so I thought I would keep my mouth shut. It's always good to set an example.

I was at work tonight and a guy came in and said he was a truck driver. I asked him what kind of truck and engine it had. He said it was a Kenworth with CAT. Then he said he has a Powerstroke. I told him I figured since he was a Big Rig driver he would have more sense and drive a Cummins. Ah, well.

I had a 97 F250 PSD for awhile. I thought it was a good solid truck and had no problems with it. Some friends that had the newer style PSD's seemed to have alot more trouble than me and I worked mine more. I traded that truck in on my 06 CTD. Just wish I would have done it sooner. I feel the 7.3 PSD is a good engine and is the best engine Ford ever put in a truck. But I have never owned or driven a stock 7.3 that could compare to my stock CTD. More power, smoother operation and I can hear myself think again while I'm driving. Every diesel pick up in my entire family is now a CTD including two cousins who hot shot. They wouldn't drive anything else.

Actually, I didn't get banned. I just gave up posting over there.

Maybe I'll go back someday, but I've got a little more time each day now that I've stopped posting there.
