The Power of the Open Road...

Sometimes I feel like I lose touch with everything around me and as some of you know, lately my life has been all screwed up...Just in the past week, I got stuck in the mud, bent up my front bumper getting out of the mud, bruised my heel, and broke up with my girlfriend of 4 years...yes..it's been a BAD week....but tonight, I wen't to see a friend over in the Texas panhandle and on my way back, I realized something...the radio was getting really annoying. So I turned it off and for the first time in a long time, I was at peace with myself. I know, it sounds weird, but I just sat there and listened to the constant hum of the engine...the road was so flat that the sound never changed, and there was rarely a curve or another car to pass so I just sat there and listened...and it was the most relaxed I had been since I can remember....It's amazing what a little 2 hour road trip can do for a person...Sorry if this sounds really weird, I guess I just wanted to share this little story with everyone... Happy New Year everyone!

Yep. I keep the raido off when I take long trips with the family. Nice and relaxing. Sorry about all your misfortune, rat.

I only turn the radio on if Wifey is in the truck.

I've had many appointments with "Doctor H-D".

I used to do that...but I can't stand driving the 98 with it's junk slushbox that much

But you can bet the first week of February I'll be VERY relaxed TIMINVA is hooking me up with a DTT

Then I can finally start my therapy again....is diesel smoke considered aromatherapy??

Nothing like putting some of those mountains between your horses ears an staring at the south end of north bound cows to put a mans life in scope you have alot of time to really think about things. If it was not for buckarooing and roping an branding all all the things that go with the life style of being called a flat hat or buckaroo its gotten me thought some really really low times in my life
