Didn't they fix most the problems with them in the later years?

If it was me I'd find one that wasn't modded since most of the 6.0s had problems when worked hard or driven by a "spirited" driver it seems.

Have you looked on Edmunds.com? They still list "classic" GM Duramaxes and 07 SDs.

If you decide to buy the Ford, please be honest and keep us updated on the problems you encounter. By the way, ever thought about why someone got rid of them with such low mileage?? Something to think about.

It's a sign of desperation that a person has narrowed himself to choosing between two 6.0 PSD trucks!

Poor fella

Then get a Chevy! Just say no to the 6.oh.

I wouldn't recommend a 6.0 Powerstroke engine to anyone...

When I was looking at trucks I got the feeling from reading all the forums that they won't be as problematic as people say they are if they aren't worked too hard or driven by a "spirited" type driver. Just my $.02.

I do know one thing though, people who own and service ambulances are hating them .

And lots of people get rid of trucks at low miles almost new no matter the make/model.

RUN, dont walk, from both of them. I know from first hand experience, they are junk.

But, its your decision, and if you have to get one of them then get the one that hasnt been bombed. That way you will still have the warranty, cause your gonna need it!!
