I know there is a lot of talk about tires on here, enough to confuse a man. I have a chance to get a new set of Pirelli tires in 265/70/17 Scorpion 10 plys at a really good price from a friend of a friend in the tire business. For those of you that have them or have had them, would you please give me opinion of them. Mostly highway and pulling a small low boy with two atvs on it.

I am in the market for new tires also. Spoke with a guy at tirerack.com yesterday about my options. Pirelli's were 3rd on the list he recommended, said they were really good tires. I read the buyer's reviews of them and they got good reviews too.

If you are getting a descent deal on them, go for it, sounds like the way to go.

BTW, tirerack.com has a lot of information on different tires, you might want to read up a bit before you purchase.

 

My buddy had some and hated them. They picked up every nail they could find and they wore done way to fast. He liked his original Michelin's but tried these because they were take-offs and cheap. He now runs Toyo's I think.

no traction whatsoever, and they wear like crap... run far away... im dyin to save up to get some toyo mts or the new bfgs in ten plys

Seems like they were wore out around 10,000 miles.
