No Manual transmission?
Hey fellas,
I just noticed on the Build and Price section of the Dodge Ram website, if I select the Cummins engine it only gives me an automatic transmission to choose from. Is this for real or is it just some website problem? By the way, this is the Canadian site... I know I wouldn't even consider a new truck unless it came with a manual transmission...

Did you choose a 3500? If so, I think I know what happened. The CTD and 48RE are the base motor and tranny. If you want the 6 speed, you're credited ~$400 cash.
I was browsing a dealers lot when the 04's came out. The old HO used to be the base engine, but since it wasn't available here in MA, there was a $600 credit for the SO and the 48RE was only $695, not $1095 (msrp). (The $400 difference was because that's what the 6 speed used to cost with the HO) I posted about this on another board and go this info.
