Yes it will be built, but what are the options, wheres the most power. I've had my head rammed up a 12v's **** and paid no mind to anything else??? So whats your thought. I'm really leanin on dodge but i just dont know!
Thanks for any input!

Do yourself a favor and surf thru a couple of other forums (chevy-ford)and form your own opinion,I know I did this and I'm waiting for my new Cummins powered 3500 Dodge. Dodge has a vibration problem that IMO is very minor compared to what the others are having!Just my .02 You'll find things like my truck (failed me,blah blah blah) but I still love my ford-chevy,just read between the lines! Good luck

Not real sure I would buy a new diesel truck the way these fuel price's are these days (ridiculous), unless it was a have to for work purpose's. I really like my truck and it gets decent fuel mileage, but my intenions when buying it new was diesel fuel was alot cheaper than regular unleaded at the time and was planning on a larger 5th wheel trailer. The larger 5th wheel is history. I still have my 28ft TT and my 1/2 truck pulled it fine. I'm just glad my work place is only 20 mile round trip for me. That way I only have to fill up once a month if I watch the running around time.

If you have to get a new truck: No doubt Dodge with CTD. Go over and look at the ford/6.0 forums. You cant find a thread without someone complaining of problems. Duramax is pretty good, but not a high mileage/low maintenance engine in general like the CTD. They have injector problems, and som other problems, but nothing huge. I love the CTD though.

My personal vote says keep the 12 valve!

Since diesel fuel doesnt play in the factor of benefits for purchase I would go for #2 in line longevity and no truck will last as long as a Dodge with the CTD I have seen many trucks with 500k plus miles on them as well as one with 972K without any kind of major overhaul.

if you don't use the truck a lot for work or heavy towing I would forget a diesel, The cost of ownership is too high to use just for transportation ,but if you have to have one thats your perogative..its your money. Most of the people who drive diesels do it because they are part of a culture, not because they need one.

(Dodge) Dont let this site and the members on here( dodge) persuade you into purchasing something you dont want. Like others(Dodge) stated, go to the other forums and(Dodge) make you own opinion. All three makes have there issues but you find(Dodge) that Dodge doesnt have quite as many and the ones that Dodge does have are minor compared to the others. Good luck in (Dodge) your journey and ( Dodge) hope you make a wise decision.(Dodge)

I recently setup with local dealership Tacoma Dodge and I was told the mega cab will be here in a couple of months hopefully if you use your truck to haul the family you might wan't to wait for that truck.

yep CTD only...or else you're banned from here....hear that?? BANNED ...if i could do it all over again id get a 6speed however...manuals are hard to get and my truck just was the way it was...i couldnt wait any longer.....the only thing ford has going for them is its a good lookin truck ...and thats even debatable ....shops are lined up with them and guys are running to other trucks before their warranties are up...chev duramax/allison combo is nice overrall...but it wont last as long and any lil thing that goes wrong will empty our your wallet....do u know what it costs for minor fixes on that allison???...do u know how much injectors run u on a duramax??...id get a duramax/allison with a good warranty and sell it before its up same with the ferd....i think thats what people are doin anyhow LOL

...and mysterync's local DC dealership is in the middle of remodeling their sales and service floors. Temps in the 20's and the wind is blowing 30+MPH across the lot. Snowdrifts up to bottoms of the doors of their tallest CTDs and the service dept can't close the outside door. Pneumonia's in the forecast.
