new here

well i bought my first dodge diesel today,i went with a used 2001 2500 slt 4x4 extended cab,she has 60k miles and picked her up for 15900...i have always had ford powerstrokes from f25 to f450....really not sure what to except....so please tell me,im picking her up tomorrow afternoon...she has to get pa ispected....will it be nmoticable going from a 7.3 and a 6.0 to the 5.9? i have no idea or experiance with dodge(except an 03 1500 gas jobber which only lasted 40 k)any info would be great

Yeah, you should be able to finally throw away all those business cards from the tow truck operators.......
Keep an eye on the fuel pressure, and if it's an auto tranny keep the fluid & filters changed.

Welcome, the noticeable difference should be the amount of time you have on your hands since you wont be making trips to the dealer anymore.

since you're getting it PA inspected I can vouch for a good group of guys out that way, the PADTR crew, heck they even let a few of us 'Jersey folk crash their gigs........ well at least they're a tollerant bunch.......
