Tupy made the factory turbo elbow on our trucks (you'll see their name case into the part).
They also made all the 5x series CTD blocks.
CGI is great stuff-- the sooner we get it, the better.

I suspect it is the new reverse-flow V6 and V8 GM diesels. Reverse-flow because the exhaust comes out through the inner portion of the vee, and the intake comes in from the outside--where you'd typically picture a header being.

Brazil isn't the third-world country a lot of us make it out to be, it's actually quite prosperous. It has a well-respected aerospace presence (if you fly "feeder" airlines, you may be surprised how many times you've flown in an Brazilian-made airplane) and has been running on bio-fuels for many, many years. They are the 5th largest country in size and population and is in the top 10 of GNP, right behind Canada. I wouldn't have any problem with the quality of Brazilian-made autoparts, but would rather the jobs stayed here of course.
Brazil is a country of extremes- they have affluent areas and poor areas- what we think of as Brazil is the poor parts. The affluent parts are just like any other major country, but the poor parts are poor. The large influx or Brazilians here are because the poor parts are much larger than the rich parts- and the sections with no work mean literally that- no work. I live and work in the 2 largest cities in the us for Illegal Brazilians.
