Need Help With Prices - Fast

Hey,
I need some help to hopefully get a killer deal...as some of you know, Ford is buying back my truck so I am switching to the CUMMINS!

So, I built a Dodge on line (07 mega cab)
and the MSRP is 46,385

What are you guys getting for prices ??? What should I shoot for ?

My truck build...
2007 MEGACAB
- 5.9 diesel
- 4x4
- Automatic
-3.73 gears
- basic AM/FM single CD player
-Forged alum. wheels
- light group
- protection group
- clearance lamps
- block heater
-Floor mats
- rear sliding window
- sunroof
- alarm system
- Fog lamps.

Thanks guys !!! I am near Baltimore Maryland too.
Cheers !

According to another poster on this forum who is a dealer, you can no longer order the 5.9 diesel.

He also just listed the price increase for the new engines and trannys.

Unless you just have to have an 07 I would search for a new leftover 06.

You should be able to save many thousands over the price of a 07.

Like tennman said, find a 06 and save thousand and thousand over a 07. The drive train you speced is exactly the same.

I was hoping to be able to find a 2007 Mega cab due to the fact the dealerships were having a tough time finding a 2006 in the color I wanted. They had plenty of crew cabs but no mega cabs in my area... I hope I am able to find what I want in a 2007 with a 5.9 ... I am hitting the streets tomorrow, so I hope they can find one for me...

I am now worried

Yeah, you could get a steal on a 06 with a little shopping around. But if you are going to go the w/ 07(dont know the status of the engine) but I like edmunds.com to get a base for pricing, they will give MSRP, Dealer Invoice, as well as an average for what people are paying on that vehicle across the country, usually a few hundred dollars over invoice, you could expect to pay that for an 07. An 06 you could probly get under invoice right now fairly easily

Man, for some reason I cannot find a 2007 or a 2006 Mega Cab in the colors I want in my area (baltimore metro area)

I did the search feature on Dodge.com after building one with a 5.9 Mega and I am having a tough time finding one... this sucks!

FYI 2006 have a $5500.00 rebate and the 07 now have a $3,000.00. Also any remaining 06 have extra savings from Dodge and the Dealer.

Alittle bummed about the lack of responses, but I got a few deals today.

This one is on a 2006 Mega Cab
MSRP 48,035
DEAL - 36,108

This one is a 2007 Mega Cab
MSRP 47,850
DEAL - 38,295

Another 2007 Mega
MSRP - 46,690

and the last 2007 that met my expectations

Comments? Anyone else with comparisons or better deals ?

Cheers!

I think any time you can save $9,000.00 or more on a new truck is good. As long as you are happy that is all that counts not what we think is good for you.

Those deals look pretty decent. As said above, anything around $10k off the sticker is a good price.
