Beware, the '07s sold after Jan 1 are required to have exhaust particulate scrubbers that are expensive to maintain and require the use of ultra low sulfur fuel exclusively.
I would buy a '06 and use the money you save to paint it whatever color you want.

I bought a new '98 24v 2500 qcab 4x4 in central British Columbia. sticker was $45.000, I got it for $38.995. remember that was almost 9 years ago.

I think those are actually pretty cheap prices for new trucks.

tks,
rjm

Based on the MSRP, it looks like the '06 is better equipped? If so it looks like the best deal to me, but hard to tell with out all the details.

But it's all about YOU getting the best truck for YOUR money. Good luck!

FYI, Any truck made before Jan 2007 is not required to have the stupid exhaust particulate filter on it. All diesels made starting Jan 01 2007 will be required to have the exhaust particulate filter installed. This is one reason why Cummins & Dodge went to the new 6.7L engine for model year 2007.5, as it will also be required to have a EGR valve to meet the EPA stupid stuff.
