That's a fairly rare car, so you may not find many people who know much about them. I'd try the MOPAR rags websites, you may find someone.

Try www.sebringclub.net. It is a forum for Sebring convertibles, I have a 99, good bunch of guys.
I know that one or two of them have Magnums.
Lots of knowledge and help.

Oh. We were thinking the Magnum from the late 70's. Should be the same set-up as the Chargers and 300C (which should have been the 300N, but we won't go there).

What's the steering problem with your Magnum? Biggest issues I know of is the strut control arms and the inner tie rods.

I have a 2005 Magnum RT.

Column binds every 180*, it is suggested a bad intermediate steering shaft but I was under the dash and it actaly feels like the lower part of the column where it goes through the firewall is bowed like a bananna

I think it got damaged when the k frame was replaced like the forgot to disconnect it

All steering and suspension is new
