my brother just bought an 06 F250 powerstroke.
i tried to tell him. he would not even drive the dodges. 
o well it's his money. anyway i drove the truck, and i thought they were supposed to be fast. I stepped on it and i was not impressed. are they really supposed to be 370 HP on the 06? if they are i could not see it.

last I heard
these things were at 325 or so, 370 sounds to be unreal, too high for a stock truck even though we are getting closer, as the new six speed auto duramax is supposed to be at 360 or so horses? Seems to me ford wants to outdo by 10 horses, typically the case in these HP wars. I too have driven a 6.0, i can honestly say the same, not impressed.....

A guy at work just retired, a die-hard ford man....He just bought an F550 Crew Cab with leather and 8' box...(F550's dont come this way, his is a $60,000 "custom conversion")
That thing has a ridiculous rear axle...Some kind of Spicer, looks like it should be on a dump truck....GCVWR is 30K...
It has the new 6.0L PowerChoke....He's always talking trash about how he could pull my frame out from under me....But that engine is slow...He will even admit that its slow....

My brouther-in-law is a die hard Ford fa, he bough a 02 or 03 New i dont remember when, but when he drove my old 99 5 speed, he admitted thet it seamed faster and that it had more power, I have not let hive drive my new 2005 6 speed yet, but i think i will get a pic of him kissing it after he does

I always said that I'd rather have a sister in a house of ill repute than a brother in a ford........... I think that my brother bought his ford just to spite me grrrrrrrrrrrrr
