everything I read convinced me to go w/ BFG's, if I had a 4x4 dualy, I'd go w/ 285 BFG E's and a 2" spacer

i have aftermarket rims on the outters and the fronts , there flush with the outside of the flairs right now and i dont want them to stick out..i would prefer to go wih 255/85 as then i will only need to run a 1/2spacer at the most...they make the bfg muds in that size but not the AT...has anyone ran these maxxis??

A friend of mine has them in a 315 on hit superduty, and besides the truck being a piece, the tires are awesome, no problem with sand or mud, and above average on pavement. Plus they look like the MT/R, but at a much lesser price. Not as many plies as the Goodyear I dont think, and dont know how they do with towing

I'm running Buckshot mudders on the back of mine and I like them. Not to loud on the highway, seem to last a while i have 10,000 on them already, and nice tread pattern. They dont have the tread on the sidewalls like the BFGs but other than that they haven proven to be a good tire.

it is just the Buckshot mudder of old, it was bought by maxxis. These are radials. Prolly gonna be the next tire I go with as you can not beat the price, and I had them on my 99 f-250 and my 01 Ram 2500. They area a softer compound, but they grip very good, just don't do any burnouts and they will last a good while, you start spinning them, adn they lose thier life fast...

I am not really really sure, but I would say you can expect between 30-40,000 miles...

I have been told the Maxxis Hookworm is good tire for a recumbent bicycle.
