March Truck Of the Month Poll

OK,,,,,, so the only excuse I can think of for being a day late on starting the poll is,,,,,,,, it was Top's fault,,,,,,,, Not really, but I haven't blamed him for any screw-ups lately.

I was really surprised that we didn't have more sign up, but the names were put in a hat and the above were pulled out. I must say that it ended up being quite a variety.

One Short,,,,
One Tall,,,,,
and
One L o o n g,,,,

Just a reminder for those that did not get chosen for the poll, you can submit them again when the category comes back up.
Take a look and vote for your choice of which rig will be Truck Of the Month for March.

Truck Of the Month Procedure for 2008

The DTR TOM Staff has come up with a new procedure for choosing the TOM candidates.

* Starting Dec. 1st, 2007, we will post a thread with the winner for this month’s poll in the General Diesel Discussion section of the forums.

* At the same time, we will post a “TOM Candidate Sign-Up” thread in the same forum. In this thread we will announce the category of trucks that will be accepted as possible candidates. (1st Gen 250, 350, 2nd Gen 2500, 3500, 3rd Gen 2500, 3500, MegaCab, etc.)

* If your truck falls into the chosen category for that month and you would like to have a chance to be in the poll, then you can nominate your truck by posting a picture from your gallery in that thread.
* NOTE: The picture MUST come from your Diesel Truck Resource Member Photo Gallery! (Anything else will be deleted.)

* You can also list some of the mods and accessories on your rig in the same post. Please post only once in that thread because the TOM committee will select three trucks from that thread to be in the poll. *The process for selecting the three candidates from this thread will be completely at random.* If your truck is not selected for the poll or it is but it doesn't win, you may nominate it again when your category comes back around.

* Previous Winners of the TOM will not be eligible to participate. (Previous Winner being defined as truck and/or DTR Member)

* The “TOM Candidate Sign-Up” thread will be open from the 1st of the month until the 14th of the month. That gives you two weeks to submit your truck.

* At this time, the “TOM Candidate Sign-Up” thread will be locked, the three poll candidates will be chosen at random and the poll will be posted on the 15th . The poll will be voted on until the end of the month and we start all over again on the 1st of the next month by posting the winner in one thread and posting the “TOM Candidate Sign-Up” thread for the next month's category.
Special THANKS to Tim Barber at TRE Diesel Performance for sponsoring the TOM Award plaques!

My vote goes for juicedbusa02, obviously.

Nice to see someone actually lift duallys as well!

          Now that's the big one.

          dodge12v,

That short bed dually is cool. I had an '01 short bed and I always thought of doing that conversion.

Plus, you can find a parking spot easier than me..

          Have fun,
          Jason

Well, there are 2 good reasons for that Andy.

          1. I was in South Carolina that week.

          2. I didn't own this truck yet.

I had an '01 QC short bed 6 speed at that time. I sold the '01 for this when my son was born for some more room for the family.

I had the truck there this year and it should be there next year.

I would also like to make it to Carlisle for a show this year. I'm sure we'll cross paths some time this summer.

          Take care,
          Jason

I refuse to vote, because I cant believe that this is a random occurrence..... Short bed dually, lifted 4x4 and a custom stretch... Come on...... That is like a million-in-one shot......

If I did vote, it would the stretch job, just because that is the truck I would love to have....

Knarly mud grips on a lifed dually.....gotta vote for juiced. All are nice, but I like the whole package on the black truck.
