A friend back in high school was toying with a system to make his burnouts look "bigger". So he ran an oil injection system into the exhaust manifold that was tied to a Schwans Ice Cream Bucket. In the cab he had a **** that opened and controlled a valve in the line which when opened dripped oil into the exhaust manifold.
He routed his exhaust pipe to right inside the rear wheels to further improve his smoke show.
Just another boring weekend project for a farm kid!

Yeah, we tried the bleach and water too (saw it on TV!). Our problem was that it didnt work very well on gravel roads, and Moms missings bleach really got noticed faster than Dads used oil!

I think it's time to merge them.

Just gotta figure out which forum he actually wants it posted in.

Perhaps "General Diesel" since we don't know to which generation he is referring.

Thanks Phox - nothing more annoying than an untidy message board.

The best way to make smoke is to BOMB your truck. My truck never smoked stock unless I REALLY got on it. With the Edge EZ I can make it pour black smoke smoke out the pipe fairly easily. No sense in FAKE smoke though. Forget the switch. Bomb the truck.

Hoss, I wonder if there's something different about your rig than mine (and it seems most others). I put the EZ on without the boost elbow, got some smoke - not a lot, but just enough to notice with a glance in my mirrors. When I put the boost elbow on, it doesnt smoke at all.

Exhaust maybe? I basically have no muffler to catch any of the soot. I guess that could make a difference. I noticed no difference whatsoever in anything when I put the boost elbow on. I'm not even sure it does anything. However, with the EZ my truck makes a decent amount of smoke pretty easily. It does it most at low RPM's when I put the hammer down and also at very high RPM's when I'm really gettin' it.
