Of course - they would no sooner get the first run of them shipped, and they would have piles of e-mails requesting an "extended cab," a "crew cab" or some other goofy thing. I hope they build it as seen - with a small diesel. What's wrong with a small, manuverable, go-anywhere pickup for two only...?

If you're looking for a Jeep pickup I'd go with American Expedition Vehicles Brute. Know it would be even better with a diesel powering it.

i agree, with the way things are going with auto makers i think the only way a Jeep diesel pickup is going to be had is to drop a diesel in an AEV Brute.

i think this is going to fall by the way side just like every other diesel jeep idea they had (except the cherokee).

I completely agree - you're right - people would probably start whining...

Kind of looks like the Scrambler from years ago. A 4BT, with a plow. Just the thing for plowing in tight parking lots, and tight driveways. Keith

I have seen 1 or 2 around here and they would be a cool mountain buggy but with me having long legs I don't think I would fit in it.
