i have a little 1.8l diesel out of a chevette. the injection pump is shot so i took it off and need to put the new one on. my question is what do you have to do to get the timing right with the engine and the pump. i know you line the engine up to top dead center but im not sure about the pump. any wisdom is appreciated.

anyone? or can we just bolt the injection pump on and it will work
