Isuzu NPR Diesel Tach?

I have a friend with motorhome and an Isuzu NPR in it.

He has alread run the 3" straight pipe, found an air filter, added Boost and Pyro gauges, and a Powershot Propane Injection Set-up.

He question to me was how does he find a tach for one, so here I am!!

I'm guessing that it will be some kind of alternator pickup unit, but I don't really have any idea where to look, so I figured I'd start here.

Thanks,
Chris

AutoMeter has alternator triggered diesel tachs also. A little easier to find than the Isspros. http://store.summitracing.com/defaul...ch%2Easp&N=100

Signature600,

A little off the subject but are you refering to the NPR with the 3.9, 4 cylinder? I have a '95 and have been thinking of cranking it up a bit. It looks like the pump can easily be turned up. Any experience? They are so slow in stock trim!
Thanks, Wetspirit

Don't know for sure, haven't even seen the engine!

From what questions I have asked though, I think that sounds right, and it has a rotary pump, so it shouldn't be too hard to "tweak "

The propane kit was made by Powershot, and it was a kit exactly for that model.

A soon as he finishes ussing it for the year, it's BOMB time!
