I guess Ford just don't learn. They should have put a In Line 6 in the darn thing instead of that V-8. I'll bet there is at least 3 off the shelve 6's out there that would fit other than Cat and Cummins.

I owned a 93 F350 7.3 Crew Cab and put a Banks Stinger Turbo on it. It ran good at 8PSI max boost. I have always wanted another Crew Cab. Dodge needs to get off it and do it, with an 8ft bed. I would not ever think about buying another V-8 Diesel after driving my 96 12V and my 2000 24V.

There's a 2009 Crew Cab but the bed is only 5 1/2 ft long . http://www.velocityjournal.com/journ...eases/442.html http://www.sporttruck.com/featuredve...ram/index.html

But that's a half ton. They may very well wake up and do 3/4 and 1-ton crew cabs (REAL crew cabs, not fake quads) with 6.5 and 8 foot beds.

Noticed that the new engine will have alumunum heads. Guess they will be easier for the Ford mechanics to pull off..............

Makes recycling easier. Just pull them off and toss them in with the empty cans.
