Looks good to me.

They make some great steering wheel covers that really help keep your hands warm, and you can swap the seat cushions left to right (4 bolts, don't remove the seats) then get some good looking seat covers and you are set. The make some nice one piece floor mats for the rear seat if you are wanting to haul people in the back.

I appreciate all the input fellas. I go to pick it up friday. I can't wait. I already ordered the kdp kit and it will be here before I pick it up. I am getting the kdp and gauges installed at the same time. I am going to have a buddy do the fuel plate next week and have the timing done when I have the plate put on.

Heck man

do the fuel plate and AFC starwheel tuning urself man! its easy as pie and believe me its fun to say that you did it yourself and set it the way you wanted to...

Timing, well, im not that inclinded so i wouldnt do my own truck, id rather pay to have it professionally done..

I've been looking at trying to most of the stuff myself. I like to save money so doing it myself will help. The only thing I might have done is have the gauges installed. I plan on doing the KDP kill myself. Not to sound stupid, everything on the truck is SAE correct? I am looking at getting a good set of tools so I can do all my own work. Thanks for everything.

What is the size range on the motor? Or should I just go buy them all?

THis is correct

the KDP can be done with a 10 mm wrench, have a spare you can grind down a bit to get into that hard to reach bolt behind the fan, I started a thread not too long ago on common sockets used for a 12V.. Ill see if i can root it up..

Just for safety's sake, buy a good craftsman toolset and be done with it.. anything over 100 bucks will have most of what u need..

Anyways here is the thread..

Hope this readin helps!

The Craftsman I had got stolen, and replaces with a Husky. I liked the longer wrenches better.

But the advice to get a full set is something I agree with 100% Nothing like having a full set of standard and metric, deep and shallow, in various drive sizes, 6&12 point sockets, stubby wrenches... Having it all readially avalliable makes wrenching on the truck so much more enjoyable.

And the gauge installs are pretty easy, I would sugest doing them yourself as well. I did plate, (grinding it as well) KDP, and gauges, with some tweaking on a spring afternoon... All of it was a first time through.
