how heavy is a powerstroke?
We got a good arguement going about which engine weighs more, a 12 valve cummins or a 7.3 powerstroke. So which is it? A 12-valve weighs almost 1000 lbs but how mush does a 7.3 weigh?

I don't know the exact weight but I hear they can hold a 40' boat in a 30MPH wind.

I think the 7.3 DIT (Powerstroke) weighs about 920lbs dry.

I know the ISB is over 1000 lbs. It even tells the weight in the owners manual.

the cummins weighs more...not by much but it weighs more...pretty impressive for amotor that is 1.4L less in displacement
