How the DPF regeneration processes works.
How the DPF regeneration processes works.
I was reading a few threads where folks where wondering what happens with regeneration, passive and/or active, or how it works. So, I searched and found a few .pdf files from Cummins, as well an article from another source. One of the .pdf files also explains the cooled EGR process, and the urea process that other engines are using, for example, like VW's TDI.
