Ya know what gets me about drive thrus? As I'm pulling up, they like to throw the windows open (at the Taco Bell I go to, they open outward, not a slider) and darn near take off my mirror. I have the big tow mirrors that stick way out. Usually there is a stunned look because they aren't used to people being that close to the windows with the mirror and they aren't used to looking up to hand folks their burritos

On the topic of drive thoughs there is only one here that we can make it in to with the horse trailer hooked up to when were pulling out to gather cows or head to the rodeos and of course its a Wendys but they dont got a canopy and they dont have the small curb fish trap guids so you can swing wide to get lined up to the windows. moral of this story is you should see the look on the lady and the first window who just took your money when there is 6 horses staring in the window

 

We did something similar one time except with a boat.

Definitely know what you mean. I have one burger drive thru that can hear me, the rest I just stop and go inside now. Don't have a problem with hearing at the bank drive thru, but I knock down an advertisement banner or put another ding mark on one mirror or the other about half the time.

 

We wont even get on the subject about bank drive though what were these things designed for mini coopers I mean come on my bank if i go though the drive though i have to three point it just to get around must have been design by bicyclers

I like taking the Jeep on the trailer thru the drive throughs. Also makes the poeple behind you .

I have to pull BOTH mirrors in to get thru the bank drive throughs. I just go inside if I am alone. hate to crawl to the other side to fold it in.

 

The McDonalds up here has the drive thru big enough for a Semi to go thru it. I did go there tonight in my dad's 89 Chevy 2500 6.2 Diesel and they asked me to shut the truck off. Then I get up there and their machine won't take my card so I ended up not getting any food.

 

ya ought to see the looks ya get when you ride through teh drivethrough( used to do it occassionally when working the mounted unit) 'specially when yer horse decides to leave a calling card right in front of the window! seems to upset the cars behind you for some reason......

 

Its hard to get them to step on the bell cord huh LOL we go though the drive thoughs when I am on p rade duty for the sherrifs office I am on the mounted posse
