Holy Shnikey!....This was a 1st....
Mostly I don't take the truck thru a drive thru, most banks that it fits in I cannot reach the canister and the tube. Up too hight for my short arms
Truck don't like most ratburger joints, dulleys up on the curb, top lights have hit the clerence hight sign, it is lower that the clearance.
Just easer to park, cool down and go in.
BUT, if you want a bank drive in that anything will fit in go to Forks WA. The drive in lanes there were built to take a school but full of loggers. I think it is still there, haven't been to Forsk in a few years.

Yeah, the drive-thru's at the banks are my nemesis. They have concrete curbs that require careful alignment to get the wheels lined up straight to keep from scrubbing the sidewalls on exit. Banks are almost always too low for my big antenna.
But, my fun occurs when I drive under metal overhangs at hamburger places..
My truck sometimes carries a 15' high, 160meter "bugcatcher" antenna. The mast and loading coil with big capacity hat are rigidly mounted with an 8' flexible whip above that. The metal overhangs make an absolutely awful sound as that stiff whip goes smacking along the convolutions of the overhang.
I watch out for 8' fluorescent lighting though...

I went through my bank drivthru twice with an F600 dump truck . First time I pulled in reeeeaaalll slow . Cleared by a few inches . So the next time I just pulled in kinda fast . The girls at the window ran halfway across the bank

Drive through banks?! You folks are kiddin me... Never seen one of those before...
I went though the tim hortons (coffee shop for those south of the border) drive through for the first time with the tow mirrors on... I am used to getting really close to the window , so I don't have to reach far, forgot the tow mirrors stick out more , darn near smacked the window with it...

I went thru the bank drive thru....once.
My mirrors just barely cleared the vacuum tubes, and I had < 1/2" clearance between my outer rear tires and the concrete at the start, and was scrubbing both sides before I was out.
Had to do a 5 pt turn to finish getting out of the lanes.......
Before I left, the lady asked if there was anythign else she could do, OI told her make the lanes wider !!
No way I could make it now, towing mirrors stick out a lot farther than the old ones. But it's also like a cats whiskers...if the mirrors fit, the hips (fenders) fit.........

Ahhh, brings back a story. Back in college, auto/diesel college, not a real college. We were out one Friday night, me and two friends, cruising in my.......88' Hyundai Excel......yeah, BIG chick magnet!! Anyhow, we got hungry and my one friend says, "hey, go thru Mc D's drivethru......BACKWARDS!! So, what the heck, so I backed up to the order platform, we give our orders and procede to back around the drivethru to the first window. The look on the girls face was priceless!!! Both friends were on the passenger side of the car, so they handed the money and we waited for the guy in front of us.....behind us?? Then pulled to the second window....again....the look on the girls face!! We grabbed our food and the girl was like, "what's wrong" and my buddy tells her, "it's stuck in reverse and it won't come out!" She was like, "really" and we all start to say yeah, "and we live in Nashville so now we have to back all the way home!!" Man, the whole place was looking out the window, customers leaning over the counter and everything! It was absolutely hillarious!! We continued to back around the place and whipped it around....as well as a Hyundai could whip and took off in first gear laughing our behinds off!!

I own a bunch of these stores, the technology for the speaker and heads sets we use in drive through is amazing!!from engine noise reduction and extremly lightweight units. pretty soon the people taking your order won't even be in the retaraunt but a call office in another part of the country, and swipe cards instead of cash or debit. they also consider where the stores are built as to what kind of traffic they can handle through the lane, during evenings when it's cold or rainy it's not uncommon to see 2 or 3 semi's with a 60' trailer in the line up.(my stores are right in the center of the heavy IND/shipping area)

took my QC with a 31 foot airstream through mc donalds, sitting at the second window a guy that was about 10 feet from the first behind me honked his horn and flipped me off
so i decided id return the favor and back up about 6 inches from his car and enjoyed the freaked out look on his face lol, talk about a piturbed old guy in a ford focus

you should see it when you pull into a brew thru with a trailer full of horses, and open the door to the trailer to let them load the beer midst the road apples........ one of the few things I miss about PA, drive in beer distributors.

On the other hand , me and one other guy set off the sensors at KFC once, still not sure how we managed that , they sense iron don't they?
