I can't believe the idiots standing so close. I'd be running the other way as fast as I could. When parts start flying at the kind of RPM's that thing is hitting they are going to go through anything.

I've seen that somewhere before, i remember reading something along the lines of the students rebuild the motor after she goes boom. Not sure if possible tho.

Yeah chain link was going to do them a lot of good if it came apart. Why must people be so dumb?

 

They're all screaming with joy like it's some kind of sporting event.

 

If it came apart, it would likely have blown up parallel to the fence, so if you are gonna stand close to it, in front or behind would be better than the side.

 

The chain link would "screen out" the big bits

 

I was hoping they where going to weed out the gene pool a little with that stunt but no luck this time.

 

Come on guys, whos to say the block wasnt cracked from freezing or something? They just saved some one, maybe even one of you guys, a headache and some money quite possibly! I have seen some of those blocks cracked so bad they werent even worth doing that with!
