"I think the heads hold about 3 quarts of oil above the 14 quarts that the pan and filter hold."

The heads hold about 3 cups of oil each. 750cc.

Superduty,

I was close I thought quarts but your right! Who would you recommend for sales on injectors? What about a little higher hp inj? It has an auto, so not sure what it will hold. Whish I had a 12v to drop in!

By the way thanks so much!

DNR Industries in LA, CA makes the best HEUI injectors around. Ask for Joe or Mike. They mainly deal with distributors/wholesalers.

Oversized/high output HEUI injectors are asking for trouble.

Glad I could help. Others have helped me.

"Wish I had a 12v to drop in!" I highly recommend that route if you are planning on keeping the truck for a long time.

if you want bigger injectors go to
www.swamp-donkey.biz
or
www.beansdieselperformance.com
they are reasonably priced comperable to stock injectors but i am not sure what that auto will hold

Ok, I've contacted Jonathan about a set of his "baby Swamps" He said that the problems the truck is having sound like injectors to him also. After the first of Feb, I'll get the set pulled and shipped out to him to take care of. I'll let everyone know how it runs when done. Thanks again Superduty!!

Cool

Ok, I got the new injectors, and installed them. Took care of all the problems, starts better than ever before! By the way, now it runs way strong! Anyone atempting to do the ps injectors make sure you use something to suck all the oil that drains into the cylinder out. I did but the hose I used was just about the same size as the injector hole, so i didn't get it all out (I used a cat oil sample kit). Anyway it hydrolocked and I had to pull them back out. I just turned it over with the injectors out and what a mess , covered the shop with a nice fine spray. Anyhow live and learn. I would recommend Jonathan to anyone needing ps injectors, super nice guy!! Great product!!
