Hand calculated MPG today
In the 97 listed in my sig.
got 1165 (699 miles) kms on a full tank , fillup took 99.4L (26.3 gals) for a total of 26.5 MPG.
This was basically all highway, there was a little bit of city mixed in , maybe 50 kms or so.
This was running completely empty , just me and a passenger.

good job!!!! i just drove from toronto, ontario to savannah GA and got the same amount of kms for a tank....so that comes out to 26mpg?? thats insane...and i havent even had my timing bumped yet...i hear that helps a couple mpg...that should be a good investment....i cruised going 1700rpms in OD the whole way...i was pretty slow...like 105 km/h or roughly 60 miles/h...i find that truck likes it...
i actually think the truck likes 1600rpm crusing speeds the most but then im just Edit people off going slow

My average since doing the tone ring mod has been 20.8 mpg with a high of 22.6 and a low of 19.8. My average prior to that was 18.2 mpg with a high of 21.8 and a low of 14.5 (which was probably one of the few times I pulled heavy).
I run empty 99.5% of the time mixed city/highway.

T-7 , your also running a 3500 SLT 4x4 Quad Cab Dually that makes 325 HP +/- , not a 2wd reg cab 5 speed 2500 that makes 215 hp +/-

With the mods (or bombs) I've got I'm doing a nice 19.5 average MPG. Stock I used to get about 16-17 MPG average. If I keep my foot off the floor it will rise up to 20-21 MPG but there is now fun in that... Now is there???
Are you Canucks using the imperial gallon or U.S. gallon for your calculation as it make a big difference. imperial gallon is 4.54 liters and the U.S. gallon is 3.78 liters and I know most of you were raised with imperial measurments if you over 35 otherwise you are metricated!!!
I used the 3.78 US gallon , that's what i always use.
I have 3.5 gears in the rear end, but i have been thinking , it would be nice to have something in the 2.8 -3 range , that would be awsome , since we never EVER use first gear anyways.
