I looked for but never saw the forbidden word Per----.Has JCB resorted to any modern power plants besides Perkins now that Caterpillar owns most if not all of Perkins?

Come on, you could probably get better than 236 miles per hour with a highly bombed Cummins in a Pacer.

A bombed diesel in a pacer..... that would make it the worlds fastest aquarium right?

I thought Banks did one at 220 plus in a Dodge Dakota with a CTD.

Actually the Pacer would act like a giant airplane wing at speed. It would need massive air damming to hold it down and a giant tunnel underneath.

I know, I know, buzz kill!

How about a Pantera?

I had a Colt GT with the Mitsu hemi, over reved and hit the ridge with the top ring!

I think that car would self destruct at 130 or so, cheap Japanese plastic and metal.

I had a fist gen 5 sped Neon that would go 120 up through the canyon, one of those might be an interesting choice... or a duster...
