Germany VW
My son just got back from Germany. He and a friend rented a small VW diesel van for 8 days and drove to the eagle's nest, Berlin and then to Paris. He couldn't believe the performance of the van. Said he drove it like a sports car and you couldn't tell it was a diesel by the way it handeld. Stayed on the road every day and only filled it three times.
To bad they don't sell it in the US!

That's currently the only thing holding back the diesel engines that Europe has enjoyed for years.

what they need to do is import the lupo tdi, they get upwards of 80-90 mpg, about the size of a ford fiesta, but word from vwoa is not gonna happen, idiots, they could rule the small car diesel market.i'd buy one in a second.
