$2.28 gal for 93 octane in the "Geezer-Glide" yesterday.

 

Filled up yesterday. $1.599.

93.821 Gal $150.02 (the handle slipped).

I've seen it as high as $1.799 in this area...

 

I'm getting use to spending $6-7 bucks now filling up my Hog. And that's with the cheap gas! Regular is $1.88 this morning. Diesel is anywhere from 20-25 cents cheaper.

This afternoon: 75 gal @ $1.559 at the QT in Pendergrass, GA..................

 

You know it's bad when you get excited about 2.19 a gal. That's what I paid in Cali last week down from 2.34.

 

It was $1.75 all year, until ~ 2 weeks ago, and since it's inched up to $1.82. A bargain compared to gas which is $2.11, (87) $2.21 (89) and $2.29 (93) at the same station.

 

Filled up an hour ago:
Diesel
- US $ and gallon $1.83.
- Canadian 65.9 per litre or $3.00 per Imperial gallon (4.54 litres).

Gasoline
- US $2.47 per US gallon
- Canadian 88.9 per litre

So diesel is around 64 cents US a gallon cheaper than gasoline. Oil hit a record high today, so I expect we are going to take another hit shortly.

 

I was at the station the other day @ 6am and somebody pulled away with out paying the clerk just granced up and said well there goes #5 for the day. This was in a small town so theifs are few and far between but when you drive off with $60 of gas its almost like you just hit the lottery. they was only open for an hour and had five drive offs. I thought that she really didnt care because of the cameras so I asked her " so the cameras will get em' huh " she said no thats the only pump the camera cant see then she stoped and said "Why did I tell you that" Dont worry I drive a diesel I said then she laughed too. She said she cant really blame drive offs its almost ridiculos it was like $2.25 per gallon then its below $2.00 now to many drive offs I guess

 

$1.61 a gallon of diesel in Jersey for me

 

Went on a trip looking for farms in KY and I paid 1.79 when I left home and when I got to Ky in maysville it was 1.59 I could have cried. I think I'm going to load up the fuel tank and find me a place that sells off road fuel for our tractors and load up because red fuel is 1.49 up here which is just a hair over what the on road fuel is down there.

The day has come that milk is cheaper than fuel .and milk is all regulated by the FDA , sold by the gallons and sold @ gas staitions unreal isnt it.

 

Diesel around my area stays at about 2.19, unless you are at an arco.. Then the diesel is about 2.47 and unleaded is at 2.29.. Makes no sense.

No kidding, diesel just went down from 2.29 to 2.19 the other day.

 

Diesel Down Again, But Still Above 2003 Rate

"The Energy Information Administration reported that the price nationwide went from $1.761 on May 24 to $1.746 on May 31. That's still 32.3 cents more than truckers and other consumers were paying for diesel at this time last year."
