Out here in Oregon {the gourge area} we pay $1.62-$1.68 a gallon at present time {2/20/04}. I like filling up at the big truck stops as I believe and have been told that they change their tank filters more frequently than the gas stations do, because of the long haulers and their fuel needs to be clean as possible. Just a rumor or fact I don't know but it makes sense to me so I do fill up at the truck stops if I'm in the area.

1995 SLT / extended cab/ cummins/ air bags/ other than that pretty much stock

$1.99 just down the street from me at a Chevron. I usually buy fuel at the Marine base and it is 10 to 15 cents cheaper.

I paid $1.93 on Saturday, kickin' and screamin'. Saw a station in LA charging 2.39 for diesel, .10 more than premium gas! Guess the guy has a crack habit to support......

A buddy of mine said he found a place closer to home at 1.80.....have to go check that out.

Bossman gave me a free tank today for running 800 lbs of welding rod 12 miles out of my way after work. The truck was thirsty today, I managed to pack in 28.2 gallons. That's a little over $50 at current local prices. Sometimes it pays to have a dually.

$1.989 in Alamo, CA yesterday (2/29). $2.069 down the street at Shell.
Paid $2.259 for Unocal reg unleaded at Truckee, CA on 2/26. It was 2.359 across the street at Chevron and Shell.
I wish I had checked the Diesel price in Tahoe City. It would probably be the high for this thread to date.
You notice how much lower the prices are in Bush's Texas? The money continues to move from Calif to Texas.
