it amazes me how the fuel that takes the least amount of refining costs the same as premium grade gas in my area ? if it takes less work shouldnt it be cheaper ?? i guess the profit margin is huge on this dirty stinky fuel ... scott

The prices always go up during the winter. If you take a look at previous years, the diesel prices hit their peaks Jan-Feb. Much of this is because of the heating fuel situation in the NE. They use more, so the rest of us have to pay more.

Two weeks ago in FL prices fluctuated btw $1.599 and $1.749, within a hundred miles of the GA border. GA has the lowest state tax, yet OK has the cheapest fuel price. Go figure?

Lots of Refineries and pipe line terminals in Oklahoma...........Transportation cost of the fuel to the retailer is less.

$1.719 (East Coast Gas) to $2.099 (Sunoco) depending on where you buy in Delaware County, PA. I guess Sunoco doesn't want to sell much diesel. Most places are around $1.83.

What the refiners are doing is overcharging the diesel owners so that they can lower the prices for the masses that drive gassers.
Keeps more people happy.

I drove to AZ from Montana last week, it was $1.52 at every Fly J I stopped at in four states.

$2.03 (US) and up after all the conversions. Making my own is looking more appealing.

$1.56 a gallon last time I filled up (I think 2 days ago?) Not too bad, considering in august it was $1.46. I thought the price would really go sky-high come winter, but compared to some of ya, I guess Montana isn't so bad.-Steve

$1.619 in Alamo, CA. Reg Unleaded is 1.669 at same station. That's the cheapest diesel I've found around here.

Filled up today for $1.35
The highest I've paid was $1.40 at the first of the winter,
The cheapest was when I first got my truck in July $1.15.
Diesel has always been cheaper than gas, there was a bigger spread in the summer than in the winter though.

Regular unleaded is $1.50 right now.
