Talking Fuel pressure scare!!

Well yesterday I am leaving work and notice my gauge keeps dropping from 13 down to 3, 5, 10, back down...uh oh, either the FASS took a dump or the gauge sender is crapping out. DANGIT...more money

so then i notice its only doing this when taking off or hitting the brakes to stop...take a look at the fuel gauge (stocker is broken and the dummy light is always on, so i hooked up an autometer fuel gauge)

Hey dummy put some fuel in the truck and the fuel pressure wont drop when it sucks air

Glad I'm not the only one who's done that. Almost found out the hard way that the pickup stand I put in the tank isn't as low as the stock one. If the fuel light comes on in my truck you'd better have some good shoes or a phone that works. Everytime I'd turn it would sputter.

Yup. A couple of buddy's of mine run into that problem from time to time. Funny thing with one of them is his tank still has 10 gallons left in it but the pickup won't draw from them.
