Frustrated

Well after three days of trying I finally got my truck running on sunday night at around 8:30. We ended up just disconnecting the grid heater and shooting some ether in it to get it started. Finally after cranking for a little while she fired. It wasnt pretty but she was running so i wasnt complaining. So after all this I drove her sunday night and all day yesterday. But today when I went out to start her she quit on me again. I beleive that she injested some more air. This shouldnt be hard to get her running this time but who knows. So I am getting ready to take a trip to the local diesel shop (Eck's) in williamsport to get some banjo bolts and washers and hopefully completely solve my problem, but who knows. I just hope that not every week will be like this because if that is the case I am gonna take a can of gas to her. Please someone give some reassurance that they have had problems like this before because I am really starting to get Edit Will update tonight on progress.

she is up and running again. You want to know something that you guys are all going to laugh at. On the 24 valve fuel filter housing there are two set screws on the top. well today i realized something, The one screw was loose and thats where the air was protruding the system at. Man was i !!! Oh well it was a lesson well learned.

Banshee, those two set screws are a great place to tap into for a fuel pressure guage. In is for pre filter and the other is post filter.

yes I knew this already but thanks for refreshing my memory. We were going to do a preassure test on it last thursday and that is where my room mate showed me to hook the gauge up to. It was a mess I am glad that its about time for the week to be over. I NEED A BREAK!!!!!!
