Glad to hear this. Check trader online, travel for the right one. Go with a 5-speed if possible. Good luck--and congratuations on NOT buying a 6.5L!!

I like the Cummins and all but a 1st gen is way to fugly IMHO.

I would stick to the 89 and swap in a new vortec 350 w/ tranny and forget about a diesel before I did that.
