Fountain Powerboats teams with Yanmar Diesels

Impressive numbers/options being put out by Fountain.

Details:

In the Fountain42, you can get the Yanmar diesels.
Comparing them to the gas version of the 42, the gas version has a 5 mph faster top speed, but the diesel double the mileage.

Sure would look good behind my truck!

Yanmar is a great Diesl engine company. I have a small one myself. Great quality.

Adding one to a Fountain....sweet!

They are the Acura, Infinity and Toyota of the Diesels.

Putting two in a Fountain is even better (Considering they are 420 hp each).

There was an interesting show on the travel channel about these boats. Some people have to much money. One guy spent $24,000,000 on his. Yes. 24 MILLION DOLLARS on a freaking boat. Sad thing was, is that it wasn't the fastest. The fastest one out there did I belive it was 170-175 mph.

You should come to my area (Lake of the Ozarks) more often if you want to see boats like that. On the weekend of Aug 28-29 they had the Lake Shootout.

The Callan Marine boat has gone over 200mph in the past, but broke the rudder due to rough water conditions... Keep in mind that this is all in a one mile run!!!
