I appreciate and trust all your opinions, can anyone give me a link of solid testimonials or reviews that show all this? With me being over in this...**bad word* i have to have my father do all the in person interactions with the dealer and he's hooked on the Ford. It'll make it easier if I can show him some concrete information disproving the Ford's reliability.

I just went through the same thing. I originally wanted a GM. But the dealers think they have a gold mine in that Duramax.

I really like Ford. But since I plan on having this truck 15 years, I just couldn't get over the FACT that you have to remove the Cab for engine repairs. Not Good. That's big bucks anytime you have a problem over 100,000 miles.

Dodge has the best price right now and you can order one custom and if the rebates go up - get the benefit. My truck came in $2000 less than what I originally signed for.............which was $5000 less than the best deal I could get on a 2008 Chevy, $2000 less than what I could get a 2007 Chevy for, and $2000 less than what I could get an 2008 Ford for. Plus the sticker on the Dodge was $2000(2008 Chevy), $4000(2007 Chevy), and $2000(2008 Ford) more repectvely than the stickers on the above trucks. However, the MegaCab does cost $$.

The Chevy'v cab is too small but the Ford is fine. So like I said the Cab thing was big enough to push me toward a Dodge.

 

And I love megacab, the Fords crew cab does have 4 inches less leg room...which is considerable...I'll have to research the removing entire cab for Ford engine repairs...that gets costly when it comes to labor if I didnt do it myself...what a pain in the _ _ _..Thanks!
