first trip with trailer
first trip with trailer
I finally got to use my truck
, bought it ~4 months ago and got a trailer 2 weeks ago. My Dad, myself & 6 other guys went to the north side of the grand canyon with our quads (290 miles in 3 days). My `04-6spd is bone stock, and with the ~6-7K pounds we had it towed AWESOME. No death wobble, just replaced tie rods ends, steering stab. & trackbar-drives really nice & trailer tows straight. I averaged 11.3 MPG, ~70 miles of dirt (each way) to get to the ranch
which I thought was low-I was between 65-85. I`m VERY happy with it and glad I didn`t get a new Tundra-I`m a diehard Toyota truck guy......but the Dodge/Cummins combo makes one hell of a truck.
Next toy is a long travel rhino.
