I, myself, am kinda keepin' an eye open for a low mileage '98 or '99 long box with a hand shaker right now to replace my gas job. I'd like a new CTD, but after buying a house, I don't think I could afford it. Especially accessories - I would have those from my current truck that will fit.

I think I have to settle for a 2500. I don't think they made a 3500 SRW in those years. Anyone know of any of one of them animals (2500 or 3500) out there - checked the classifieds - nothing but slushboxes.

nautique21,

Sharp looking dually! Very nice in black as-is. I would agree with the visor delete option, while it may help in some sun situations, it's terrible for aerodynamics and just seems unneeded. No offense to anyone who has one - just not my thing!

looks just like my 99. That soot pipe is cool. I guess you'll make good use of it haha Let us know what you wind up with for wheel spacers if you go to big tires.

thanks guys.
i'll keep you posed on the wheel spacers. it's lookin like i'm going to go with 2" spacers to fit 315/70s. that should make things a little nicer having 35s w/ 4:10s. i'll be putting on longer control arms and a leveling kit too. and... stacks sometime.........

i can't help it! it'll probably stay the way it is for a while as far as the engine goes. it's got a ton of power. when i do it i'll just opt for twins. go big or go home!
