Ferd Cummins

Well, down at the Beach this weekend I hear a nice smooth running Cummins coming up the road. When the sound gets next to me I look for a Dodge but all I see is a '99 F-350 with a 4" exhaust. Oh well, that's a sure fire way to fix a powerjoke.

OP didn't mistake the sound of a powerstroke for a Cummins, he witnessed a transplanted Cummins under the hood of a Ford pickup.

There's more than a couple guys on here running Cummins in their Ford pickups.

I saw this truck a couple of weeks ago at a sledpull event. Very nice. He made pulling the sled look pretty easy too!

IIRC, It's an 01 Ford F450 repowered with a 93 12 Valve Cummins. Note the "C" under the F450 emblem on the side of the truck.
