ever lost interest?

so im starting to lose interest in my truck and im thinking about trading it in on something else. hate to say it but possibly a new tahoe. i drive it once every other weekend and i daily drive my jeep. i mean i love it, its been great to me and i have enjoyed it these past couple years of owning it. i mean the payment kind of has something to do with it, but i understand ill have another payment when i get a tahoe. so im kind of torn between letting it go and keeping it.

has anyone else ever lost interest in their truck? what did you do? just seeing what else there is to do... lol

Sorry, can't say I've had that feeling. But if you aren't happy with/enjoying your truck theres no need for you to keep it if feel that you can afford the payments of a different vehicle. Good luck with your choice .

Its a buyers market.. Its hard for people to keep vehicles for any lenghty period.. I sometimes wish I could trade in and get somthing different but I need my truck to haul and pull on a daily bases. If you do sell be sure to put all your goodies in the classifieds.

Nope, I have to have my truck for my horsetraining business and I can't stand driving gas powered trucks after getting used to driving a 12 second truck daily.

I feel like getting rid of it from time to time when I'm frustrated about money... pretty much the only reason that I use it now for what it was intended for is when other people hire me to pull something.

I think that I'd regret it forever if I did.

I personally wouldn't buy a vehicle that had alot of mods. That tells me someone may have been hard on it. IMO of course.. Plus you might be able to make more money selling it than leaving it on..

I agree with others, if you don't Need it, or really Want it, then sell it and get something you want.

I see a lot people buy something that's "impractical" for there application. Not that they don't want it or have the money, nothing like that, but all to often it's "i want a diesel" and that's fine, but then comes all the other stuff and then well I don't need it.

I always plan long term, bought my truck with cash, and plan to use it for at least 15 years. I haul loads and a trailer, so it's practical for me. it's not my daily driver, it's the work vehicle, so not much else I would buy to replace it.

Again it's all what you want, buy what you want, and what puts a smile on your face. Diesel at 4.50 a gallon sure didn't produce a smile

I would recommend selling it and waiting a while to see how you like not having a truck. I did not like it at all for the two months I was searching for my replacement truck.
You know you are gonna get hammered on the trade-in if they will even take it in on trade......

I'm very happy to have a truck again even though I don't drive it everyday. I drive the beater Taurus as a commuter and drive the truck for everything else. That keeps me from getting bored with it.....

well i have a guy that owns a dealership im close with, he said the trade-in he will hook me up on. cash down, i got some. i mean i used it this weekend to haul a couple pair of leaf springs and drove it 5+ hrs. so yea this weekend it was used and i took my pops to home depot for some wood.

parents are buying a truck(4 door gasser, inexpensive) so me needinga truck isnt really needed. just nice knowing i have a deisel pick up that will haul whatever i want? i dont want to mod it like everyone says- its modded enough at the moment. no need for turbos, injectors, o-rings, studs, etc...

I ride my bike most times, so I don't really tire of it. I also keep it to pull a fifth wheel, but if you don't need it turn it into another toy.

Yeah I get bored with mine or just overwhelmed with the amount of money it still needs to ever be finished. Then those days it breaks down I just want it gone. Course then there are those days everything works and you leave some snot kid in a ricer two blocks behind you in a cloud of smoke that make me want to finish it.
Truly a love hate relationship with my dually.
