Duramax block heater

If you're looking for the cord look at the battery cables for the passenger battery. Found it on the 05 when the fender was removed for engine replacement. Got to feeling around on the 04 and found it in the same spot. Zip-tied to the bottom side of the battery cables so it couldn't be seen.

Other problem with it, the cord's in some convoluted tubing with the cables, and it's barely long enough to snake the right way around some other wires and such and through the core support to get out from under the hood at the right headlight.

Yep, seen that on lots of those trucks, not enough cord to make it to the front of the truck, so people have to stick it out between the hood and fender so it can flop around and beat on the sheet metal.

It took me four tries to get the proper routing, but it did get out through the core support and from under the hood at the right headlight. Barely. It follows the cables through their convoluted tubing and is taped up pretty well at the top. I'll have to take some side cutters to that to get a little more length, or add some cord before the plug.
